The Vision
The Tax-Xierfa Museum was born from a desire to preserve the rich agricultural heritage of Malta. Inspired by the island’s deep connection to the land, a group of historians, cultural enthusiasts, and local farmers envisioned a space where traditions, tools, and stories could come alive for future generations.

Over time, artefacts were lovingly collected from rural communities across the island, tools worn by generations, relics of family kitchens, and symbols of harvest seasons. Collaborating with craftsmen, each piece was carefully restored to honour its place in Malta’s history.
